01 ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of velocitysm.com, the VSM Athlete Portal, and participation in programs offered by Velocity Sports Management Inc. (“VSM,” “we,” “us”). By accessing our website, creating a portal account, or registering an athlete, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
If you are registering an athlete under 18, you represent that you are the athlete’s parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.
02 ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION
VSM is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing athletic development, AI-powered performance analysis, academic support, mentorship, NIL education, and related programs for youth through professional athletes. Our services are mission-driven and, where noted, offered at reduced or no cost through sponsorships and community support.
03 ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION
  • Programs are generally designed for athletes ages 13–24, with select youth programs serving younger age groups; specific programs may have their own age ranges and requirements;
  • Registration information must be accurate, current, and complete — including athlete details, emergency contacts, and medical disclosures;
  • Submitting a sign-up request does not guarantee acceptance, team placement, or a roster spot; participation may require completed registration, signed waivers, and a completed player profile;
  • VSM reserves the right to accept, decline, or waitlist any application at its discretion, consistent with our non-profit mission and program capacity.
04 ATHLETE PORTAL ACCOUNTS
  • Portal accounts for minors must be created and managed by a parent/legal guardian;
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account;
  • Assignment codes (e.g., Coach/Doctor Assignment Codes) are unique and non-transferable; use them only as directed by VSM;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use at info@velocitysm.com.
05 PROGRAM PARTICIPATION, WAIVERS & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Athletic activities carry inherent risks, including the risk of injury. Before an athlete may participate in any VSM practice, game, tournament, training session, or event:
  • A parent/guardian must review and sign all required waivers and release forms;
  • The athlete’s player profile and required registration steps must be complete;
  • Families must disclose relevant medical conditions and confirm the athlete is cleared for athletic participation.
Roster spots are not held or guaranteed until registration, player profile, and all waivers are fully completed.
06 CODE OF CONDUCT
All athletes, parents, guardians, and attendees are expected to uphold the VSM Code of Conduct at all games, practices, and program-related events. This includes respect for coaches, officials, teammates, opponents, and facilities; good sportsmanship; and behavior consistent with VSM’s values. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or removal from programs without refund of any applicable fees.
07 SPONSORSHIPS & PROGRAM PLACEMENT
  • Select athletes may receive sponsorships covering some or all participation costs for designated teams or programs;
  • All sponsorships and future sponsorships are considered based on merit and athletic performance and are not guaranteed to be renewed or reoffered at the conclusion of any season or program period;
  • Program placement, team assignment, practice schedules, and sponsorship decisions are made at VSM’s sole discretion;
  • Sponsorship covers only the costs expressly identified by VSM; families remain responsible for any items not covered.
08 PERFORMANCE DATA & AI TOOLS
VSM’s performance analysis tools report measured, verified data with source and confidence information. Metrics are provided for athlete development purposes. While we hold our tools to a high standard of accuracy, performance data is informational and not a guarantee of athletic outcomes, team selection, or recruiting results. 09 NIL, ACADEMIC & WELLNESS GUIDANCE DISCLAIMER
VSM provides educational guidance on NIL (Name, Image & Likeness), academics, nutrition, and wellness. This guidance is informational only and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, medical, or professional advice. Families should consult qualified professionals (attorneys, financial advisors, physicians, registered dietitians) before making decisions in these areas. Always consult a physician before beginning any training or nutrition program.
10 MEDIA RELEASE
With consent provided at registration, VSM may capture and use photos and video of program activities for team communication, athlete development, and promotion of our non-profit mission (website, social media, printed materials). Consent may be withdrawn at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
11 SMS COMMUNICATIONS
By opting in to VSM text messages, you agree to receive program-related SMS at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of participation. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy for details.
12 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The VSM name, logo, website content, program materials, software, and the VSM Athlete Portal are the property of Velocity Sports Management Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use related to your family’s participation.
13 ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to misuse our website or portal, including by:
  • Submitting false registration or eligibility information;
  • Attempting to access accounts or data belonging to other families;
  • Interfering with the operation or security of our systems;
  • Using our services to harass, harm, or exploit any person, especially minors;
  • Scraping, reverse-engineering, or misusing our AI analysis tools or data.
14 DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, VSM disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, portal, or programs. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing replaces or overrides the signed participation waivers, which govern activity-related risks.
15 TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to the website, portal, or programs for violations of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, for safety concerns, or as required to protect our athletes and community. You may discontinue use and request account closure at any time by contacting us.
16 GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
17 CHANGES & CONTACT
We may update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
